One mistake that a lot of people make when they are trying to be healthy, is that they don’t allow themselves any food they enjoy. This can soon make eating healthily unattainable as you’re not going to never eat something like chocolate for the rest of your life. Instead, allow yourself treats such as best ceremonial cacao or something else that you love to eat, and just ensure you do it in moderation. If you do eat too much of a good thing, you could go for a workout to lessen the blow!
Find an exercise you love
Being healthy and working out is so much harder when you don’t enjoy what you are doing. A lot of people find going to the gym boring, so instead, why don’t you find a workout you like. This could be going to a class such as body pump or going for a run with a friend. You could even do things such as switching up and taking the elevator for the stairs as an easy way to get active. By getting someone else to do it with you, you will also find it easier to sustain it as you wouldn’t want to cancel and let them down, plus they can motivate you too,
Implement portion control
While you might be eating well, if you aren’t measuring out your portions it could be a reason why you’re not losing weight or being as healthy as you might expect. Look online for the actual weights and measurements of the things you should eat in a day and try to stick to this when having your meal. By doing so you will have a better idea of the calories and nutritional values you are adding to your body, making it simpler to stay on track and be healthy going forward.
