5 Things In Your Life You Need To Get Rid Of

There are things in your life that are sabotaging your chances of living a fulfilling, successful lifestyle. Here are 5 things I believe you need to get rid of in your life now:

You are the average of the 5 people you hang out with most, and if they are negative people, then that’s what you’re going to be.

If you want to be better, then spend more time with people you look up to, people who are where you want to be in life. The more positive people you hang out with, the better. Your positive friends don’t waste their time with losers, and before you know it, you will start having a more positive life. 


I have this conversation with my clients all the time, and it’s one of the main things we focus on.

What you do daily to achieve your goals in life can always be interrupted with a whole lot of BS! That’s right, bullshit! These are things that you do that do not reflect the things you want to achieve. You waste so much time on things that don’t serve your purpose, things like watching TV! How many hours in a week do you spend watching commercials? If you watch a program that goes for a half hour, you are watching 10 minutes of commercials. If you watch an average of 6 hours of TV per day, over a week you’ve spent, on average, 7 hours watching commercials. This is only one bit of bullshit in your life, we haven’t looked at others yet. My tip; At the end of the day, write down everything you have done. If it doesn’t align with your goals, then it’s BS.


If you had to wait to get the approval of everyone to do something you wanted to do, you wouldn’t do anything. Just remember, it is none of your business what others think of you. Focus on what your goals are, and stop worrying about what others think. All the successful people out there don’t give a rat’s ass what others think of them. That’s why they are not afraid to take risks. 


insecurities-1070885_1920This is a really tough one. Our true potential is limited by our negative thoughts. It’s a battle we face every day, and it’s something that some of the most successful people have to face too, however they discipline themselves to be aware of their thoughts, and practice changing them. If we can learn to identify when we are experiencing these thoughts, and try to train our minds to just let it brush by like a tumbleweed in the desert, we will start to see some changes in our lives. When you start to replace negative thoughts with positive ones, no matter how big or small, you will start to see some positive results. 


Now that we have some solid things to work on, we just have to see it through. It’s so common that when people find things getting a little tough, they choose to give up, just quit. This is something we need to change. If it were easy, then everyone would do it! It’s the disciplined, hard-working people that achieve what others won’t. So if you are looking to make some changes in your life, and you want to achieve some amazing things, then see it through, and try not to punish yourself if you have a bad day! When you feel like throwing in the towel, that’s when you need to hang in there if you want to create a successful lifestyle.
